Creating Effects for the Front Cover

Today I was essentially just experimenting with different fonts and learning how to create different effects using Adobe Illustrator so I can put it on my front cover for the CD.

Currently creating my front cover using YouTube videos as a guide however I am going to change the photo that I currently have and I am planning to use a close up instead of a long shot of the artist.

Researching CD Covers

We are in the stage where we are expected to present the actual, physical CD as well as the case for it. We will be creating the graphic art and for this we started doing our research on different album covers of artists that share the same genre of the music used for the music video.  We have picked out a few which looks like something we could potentially do. We have used Covert Art from The Weeknd, Eminem and Future. All who have collaborated with each other and a part of the same genre of our music video.
